Cedar weaving workshop with MENEŦIYE
In June 2025, Salish artist MENEŦIYE presented a hands-on workshop on techniques for weaving with the inner bark of the cedar tree, held at the Agricultural Hall on SḴŦAḴ / Mayne. Participants created a wearable cedar headband, and enjoyed stories and learned some SENĆOŦEN vocabulary from MENEŦIYE as they worked.
